Gault&Millau's review 2025

Just a stone's throw from the Arc de Triomphe, the former Majestic hotel was restored to its former glory in 2014, under the aegis of the Peninsula group, which has adopted its philosophy of combining luxury and functionality. The 200 rooms and 93 suites are decorated with works of art, contemporary furnishings and a host of high-tech services. When it comes to gastronomy, guests are spoilt for choice with 6 restaurant spaces, including L'Oiseau Blanc, run by David Bizet and set on the hotel's rooftop terrace, and LiLi, with its sumptuous Chinese opera decor, offering some of the finest Cantonese cuisine in Paris. This palace's latest asset is a 1,800 m2 spa with Biologique Recherche treatment rooms, a fitness center and a 20 m indoor swimming pool.
