Ludovic Pouzelgues, head of Lulu Rouget in Nantes, inaugurates a new, more accessible and convivial address: Lulu le Bistrot. A neighborhood restaurant designed to combine local cuisine, bistro spirit and local roots.

After winning over the palates of Nantes residents with his gourmet restaurant LuluRouget (3 toques), Ludovic Pouzelgues is expanding his culinary universe with Lulu le Bistrot, a new address opened in early July 2025 in Nantes. This more relaxed project continues his commitment to quality, local and sincere cuisine, but in a more spontaneous and affordable format.

Casual cuisine and lively wines

Conceived as a place to live, rooted in the neighborhood, Lulu le Bistrot celebrates generous, unpretentious everyday French cuisine, inspired by the classic bistro repertoire: egg mayo, pâté en croûte, grilled meat, fish with beurre blanc or well-treated seasonal vegetables. A special place is also given to living, natural or biodynamic wines, carefully selected to accompany a menu that is both accessible and tasty.

With this new restaurant, Ludovic Pouzelgues affirms his desire to return to a cuisine from the heart, simple, clear and joyful. Lulu le Bistrot is aimed at both local regulars and curious visitors, in a warm, no-fuss atmosphere. It's a way for the chef to forge another link with his public, complementing the refinement of his gourmet restaurant.
