Groot la Tourte unveils new pop-up in Paris department store
After conquering Galeries Lafayette Gourmet, Groot la Tourte is taking on another Parisian department store for the winter season. An opportunity to (re)discover their signature pies, a blend of generous French cuisine and street food spirit.
The 1 toque restaurant Groot la Tourte is exporting its culinary universe to an ephemeral corner at La Samaritaine. Set up on the second floor of the rue de la Monnaie department store until March 2026, it will feature their seasonal pies, as well as a number of new products.
A new pop-up for Groot
The duo Hugo Riboulet and Albane Auvray, winners and contestants respectively in season 13 of Top Chef, opened a single-product concept based around pies at the end of 2023. They create individual formats, with seasonal recipes and fine produce, halfway between street food and gastronomy.
Building on their success over the past two years, the restaurant is moving into the department store for a few months, to bring the Groot experience to the outside world.the deliciousness of French cuisine, to be enjoyed with the fingertips, in a spirit that is both authentic and generous", as the founders explain.
