Exceptional Hotel Close to Strasbourg, nestled in a 4-hectare park and cooled by the Ill river, this 19th-century château is the perfect stopover for those wishing to discover the Alsatian capital while enjoying a natural setting. Surrounded by a group of typical half-timbered houses with flower-filled balconies, this sumptuous residence features 62 rooms and suites of refined luxury, revisiting the original spirit of the place (heavy drapes, waxed parquet floors and wall tapestries). On the first floor, gourmets are spoilt for choice at the bistronomic La Winstub de l'Île, with its checkered fabrics, sculpted chairs and stained-glass windows, where chef Yannick Mattern serves modernized local cuisine. The last nugget is the vast spa, featuring an indoor swimming pool, a hammam, a large terrace and a sauna, with a 180° view of the surrounding forest.
