Undoubtedly one of the most charming hotels in Strasbourg. Housed in the former stables of the city’s equestrian academy, which was built in 1621, this magnificent venue was reimagined by the design duo Jouin Manku, who successfully completed its expansion, which now includes a former hospital run by nuns. Seamlessly and harmoniously connected, the two buildings house 115 rooms and suites that blend natural materials—wood, linen, and leather—in homage to traditional saddlery. Equally impressive, the spa immerses guests in a relaxing, minimalist world featuring oak wood and splendid Vosges sandstone—the perfect setting to showcase its high-end amenities: a 17-meter-long lap pool, an experiential shower, sauna, hammam, Codage-branded treatment rooms, and a relaxation room opening onto the park. Also not to be missed is the bar, which opens onto a charming inner courtyard, and—with free access from the hotel—the Brasserie des Haras, an independent restaurant with a contemporary design, led by chefs Marc Haeberlin and François Baur.
