Just ten minutes from the Alsatian capital, Isabelle and Denis Vetter improve their pretty dining room, which is brightened up like a new penny, with each season's well-thought-out decoration details. The chef also has a good hand in the kitchen, and the current slate contains tasty ideas, without extreme complication, but always with the right touch: scallop carpaccio, pike-perch "matelote" style, guinea fowl supreme with crayfish. A well-varied generalist cellar.
