Superb nose with a finely evolved aromatic palette: beeswax, toasted notes, slightly spicy with hints of lemon balm and saffron. Broad and powerful on the palate, in keeping with the vintage. The generous dosage at the time is perfectly blended, giving way to the freshness of the terroir. A very fine 1998.
