A telluric, root-based approach to this 2011 vintage, with notes of laurel, ginger and toast before aeration. Then citrus and yellow fruits appear. Well-balanced on the palate, with lively bubbles. This cuvée, one of Champagne's flagships, still needs to mature in the cellar. A few years' patience will be fully rewarded.
