Sadi Malot
Located in Villers-Marmery, on the Reims mountain, the family estate has been going strong for five generations, and is now run by Franck Malot and the young Florian Villière, who brings a breath of fresh air. Together, they passionately craft a range of champagnes dominated by Chardonnay. Originally winegrowers, they constantly strive to question their practices and their environmental impact. Since 2004, the vines have been worked according to a philosophy inspired by organic farming, with ploughed soils and reasoned treatments. The winery began its conversion to AB (organic farming) certification in 2017 for part of the estate, then for all of it in 2021. From the 2022 campaign onwards, the duo will go one step further, working according to the precepts of biodynamic viticulture.
