Another interesting comparison with two dosage versions of the same wine: this extra brut 2010 is slightly tighter, less expressive before aeration, but more powdery and fruitier than its cousin the brut 2010. On the palate, this extra brut plays the tension and finesse card. A perfectly successful aperitif champagne.

The house dates back to the 19th century and has been vinifying its own wines since 1929. Led by Nicole Moncuit, her brother Yves and daughter Valérie, the house continues to produce champagnes characterized by the freshness and breed of the Mesnil-sur-Oger grand cru. The 20-hectare vineyard is planted exclusively with Chardonnay. So, quite logically, the various cuvées are Blanc de Blancs, with the obvious exception of the Brut Rosé, 20% of which is Pinot Noir. Freshness, fine bubbles, subtle fruitiness and floral notes are all present.
