Pierre Moncuit
Champagnes
Gault&Millau's review
Led by Nicole Moncuit, her brother Yves and daughter Valérie, the house continues to produce champagnes characterized by the freshness and breed of the Mesnil-sur-Oger grand cru. The vineyard (20 ha) is planted exclusively with Chardonnay. The various cuvées are therefore, quite logically, Blanc de Blancs, with the obvious exception of the Brut Rosé, 20% of which is Pinot Noir. Freshness, fine bubbles, subtle fruitiness and floral notes are all present.
