Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a legendary grand cru of the Côte des Blancs and a Chardonnay paradise for the Moncuit estate, led by Valérie Charpentier. With the exception of the rosé, which contains 12% Pinot Noir from Bouzy, all the cuvées offered are made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes grown across 20 hectares. The differences between the cuvées lie in the specific plots, the dosage (3, 6, or 7 g), and the aging in the cellar, ranging from 3 to 8 years. This meticulous and rigorous approach results in champagnes that are either beautifully rounded or, conversely, remarkably lively, complemented by a demi-sec option for certain connoisseurs.
