From the very first nose, this is a wine of character and noble personality. With 55% Pinot Meunier (35% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir), it has a brioche-like palette of spring flowers. Hints of lemon meringue pie come through. On the palate, the wine is subtle, homogeneous, distinguished, virile, almost ostentatious. Chewy, chalky minerality on the finish. A festive champagne for aperitifs and delicate dishes such as medallions of Thermidor lobster.
