From a plot in the Grand Cru Verzy and made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, this cuvée's nose is intensely reminiscent of its time in barrel. Six years of ageing on the lees have mellowed the wine. The vinous palate is adorned with beautiful vanilla notes. The balance between acidity and tannins is magical. Beautiful mineral tension and plenty of freshness. A very fine champagne to be cellared for a few more years.
