This 2009 vintage has a deep gold color, with hints of gold to silver at the rim of the glass. The bubbles are fine and rise quickly in the glass. The nose is flattering, with aromas of lily, freesia, apricot, pear, kiwi and a note of lemon cake for distinction. The attack is round and vinous, then the wine refines with bubbles that titillate the palate to leave a zesty flavor on the finish. A lovely wine for an entire meal.
