Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
COVOMA, or the Marne Valley Cooperative Winery, owns the Jacquart, Montaudon, and Pannier brands. Based in Château-Thierry, COVOMA is the flagship producer of Aisne wines, with Meunier as the dominant grape in its blends, lending the wines fruitiness and richness. The wines age slowly in the heart of 12th-century medieval cellars carved into the chalk, whose stones were once used to build the monuments of the town of Château-Thierry. The winery welcomes individuals, businesses, and groups to explore its world and discover its champagnes.
