COVOMA, or Cave Coopérative Vinicole de la Vallée de la Marne, owns Jacquart, Montaudon and Pannier. This brand is the emblem of Aisne wines, with a dominant Pinot Meunier component in the blends, giving the wines a pronounced fruitiness and gourmet drinkability. A wide range is available here, including a few rarities, such as "Rosé Velours", a rosé cuvée dosed dry, i.e. quite sweet.the cuvées age slowly in 12th-century medieval cellars, whose stones were once used to build the monuments of the town of Château-Thierry.
