Gault&Millau's review
The estate was created in 1963, when Jean-Bernard planted vines with his father in Courmas, on the Reims mountain. Grapes were sold to the cooperative until the 1980s. Since then, his children have taken over the business. Jérôme and Céline Bourgeois offer cellar-aged cuvées (five to ten years on laths), mainly from the Pinot Meunier grape variety, at very reasonable prices. The winery can be visited by appointment, but can also be ordered via its website.
