Black fruit aromas, with blackcurrant leading the way, followed by burlat cherry with a floral touch and, above all, a great deal of aromatic nobility, a sign of fine ripeness. Beautiful, silky texture on the palate: the fruit is crunchy, with a sapid acidity. Delicate tannins and a fine, lingering touch of peppery iris. A veal liver with cherries would be perfect.
