Gault&Millau's review
94/100
Opening this bottle dated 1942, brought to us by Monsieur Brice, is a moving moment. Produced from a single plot and harvested in the middle of the war, this cuvée speaks of emotions and history behind its garnet-red color with orange highlights. The nose opens with roasted coffee, kirsch and burlat cherry. On the palate, the wine is fluid, highly drinkable and beautifully balanced on the acidic structure. And what length! A great moment.
