Gault&Millau's review
The company has been established in Ludes since 1847. Today, the vineyard comprises 9 ha located on the Montagne de Reims and in the Vallée de la Marne. It is the rising generation of Raphaël and Vincent Bérêche who have propelled the production to the forefront of winemakers' champagnes sought after by discerning connoisseurs around the world. Everything is done in the vineyard, as well as in the cellar, to sublimate the terroir and the wines, which all combine formidable maturity and minerality. For reasons beyond our control and that of the estate, we were unable to taste this year's champagnes, so we are reproducing last year's notes.
