A cuvée made only from great vintages, with 3 chardonnay grands crus, a few premiers crus in support, and 6 years of ageing in the cellar. The sparkling gold-silver color is topped by a creamy, tenacious mousse. The nose offers a floral and fruity palette of citrus, hawthorn and honeysuckle, all set against a mineral background. On the palate, the bubbles confirm their finesse, with a lovely fruity, lacy feel. The finish is mineral and zesty. This is an excellent Champagne for aperitifs or noble dishes, such as a lightly truffled langoustine risotto.
