Gault&Millau's review
It was at Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, that Hubert Robert (grandfather of the current owner) created the first group of winegrowers in the 1930s to press and vinify the fruit of their harvest together. In 1960, André Robert bought the current house, which boasts chalk cellars dating back to the 19th century. Chardonnay is the soul of the estate, with the wines aged in barrels on lees, with bâtonnage and late bottling. A collection of old vintages is available.
