Gourmet Restaurant This is undoubtedly a Caen institution that deserves a visit. A few steps from the Bassin Saint Pierre market and a stone's throw from the Château, this is a table with tried and tested fundamentals: dishes with convoluted statements, bringing together the backbench and the frontbench of options in the zeitgeist. A good time is had, the place is pleasant and the cuisine masterful. A slight setback, perhaps, in terms of audacity and prices that don't come down, but the whole experience remains very pleasant: roasted sea bass pavé, risotto of venerated rice with razor clams, blood orange gel, iodized lace tuile, artichoke foie gras emulsion, lamb shoulder confit, pan-fried broad beans, pasta pearls and chorizo, rhubarb with hibiscus, olive tartar with pine nuts, crunchy oriental spice tuile, pistachio panacotta, fig and fresh blueberry confit, caramelized pistachios, vanilla ice cream..
