Exceptional Hotel
History buffs, this is the address for you! The first owner of the property was the illustrious William the Conqueror, who gave it to one of his servants, William de Percy, after the Battle of Hastings. Although few traces remain of this medieval period, the building has preserved its beautiful 18th-century architecture, half-dissimulated by the park's tall trees. Transformed into a hotel (and now under the management of the 2L Collection group, which restored it in 2019), the site houses 29 rooms and suites with marble fireplaces, medallion armchairs and Pierre Frey tapestries. Refinement is also evident in the bright ground-floor lounges, English-style bar and gourmet Le Séran restaurant. The establishment is only a few kilometers from Bayeux (with its famous tapestry and sumptuous cathedral), but guests often prefer the privilege of château life. It's true that here you're spoilt for choice... Stroll around the 25-hectare estate, discover a magnificent cabin perched 7 m high, outdoor pool and Sothys spa in one of the outbuildings. One of the finest hotels in the region, a member of the Relais & Châteaux collection.
