Description
Sponsored Le Galta, which means "attic" in Savoyard, is a family-run establishment where you can drink and eat (very) well. It's as much a party bar as a French cuisine restaurant. Depending on the time of day and your mood, opt for a glass of wine, one of the ten draught beers or the twelve house cocktails, then choose from the gourmet pizza suggestions or the à la carte offerings: salmon and scallop tartare, whisky-spiked ribs, breaded camembert... There's something for every taste and appetite. For four years now, the restaurant's reputation has been built on the warm decor of the dining room and the terrace, where 200 guests can enjoy a superb view of the surrounding countryside. Less quiet, but just as popular, are the evening events (concerts, karaoke...) organized by chef and owner Christian Ponthieux, which also have their fans, all of whom are fine gourmets. Reservations are highly recommended.
