Sponsored Surprise and delight: this could be the adage of Chef Nicolas Urrutia who, after honing his skills in the palaces and at Ducasse, now expresses his talent at his own restaurant, Le Bellifontain. A little corner of gastronomy in a contemporary, uncluttered setting, where gourmets and gourmands have a field day. In the kitchen, the chef juggles with seasonal produce and the treasures of local producers to create refined and explosive dishes. Bourgeois cuisine revisited with the idea of reconciling respect for noble ingredients and daring combinations. The menu is deliberately limited, favoring quality over quantity, and includes foie gras with pineapple-mango chutney, grilled octopus tentacle with artichoke mousseline, veal fillet, sturgeon steak with bergamot velouté sauce. Perfection of cooking, marriage of flavors, whether by land or sea, the Chef's cuisine and savoir-faire touch the heart. The magic continues with high-flying sweet delights such as the revisited baba au rhum. A successful bet for this bistronomy-style cuisine d'auteur, a truly enchanted interlude...
