Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in the region… Just a stone’s throw from Mortagne-au-Perche, this establishment is housed in a former hunting lodge that once served as a refuge for nuns before being transformed into a charming hotel that has chosen to preserve all the treasures of the past. Spread over three floors, the nine rooms and suites are decorated with antique terracotta tiles, exposed beams, and columns that blend seamlessly with beautiful antique furniture. Downstairs, the Orangerie now houses one of the best restaurants in the Perche region, led by Chef Stéphane Renaud, who creates dishes that showcase local ingredients—particularly those from the estate’s vegetable garden, just a stone’s throw from the large swimming pool. A rare gem, owned by Éric Brossard and Stéphane Renaud, who are passionate about the Perche region and its landscapes.
