The leather and wood decor of the two interior dining rooms (one of which can be used privately, with 70 covers in all) quickly put you at ease. After nine years as head chef at Le Banaudon, Thomas Friedmann took over the running of the restaurant with his wife Virginie. Their six-strong team is seasoned and close-knit, providing customers with professional expertise, a smile and attention to detail. In taking control of his choices, the Chef has taken care not to overhaul his menu, opting instead for traditional market cuisine served with daily arrivals of selected products. Renowned for his giblets, sweetbreads or calf's head, fine cuts of meat, fresh fish or expertly-cooked vegetables, the Chef offers his classics on the seasonal slate and weekly suggestions. The plates are supported by a solid cellar (Burgundies, Côtes-du-Rhône and Alsace-Lorraine crus), and a wide choice of wines by the glass. This quality is reflected in the selection of local beers at the bar. An authentic, warm, friendly and high-quality establishment!
