Gourmet Restaurant There are no utensils or kitchen equipment for sale, as the name might suggest... Instead, this is a restaurant that doesn't push itself too hard, focusing on simplicity and shared pleasure. The dapper dining room is comfortably furnished for a relaxing moment. Christian Huet's bonhomie ensures constant back-and-forth with the kitchen. Nothing is set in stone here. Renewal is almost permanent, in line with market and seasonal opportunities. For example, a scallop mousseline with a very light texture, subtly tasty, tamed by the liveliness of a sorrel cream. The sea continues with the freshest pout, which of course, while not rivaling aristocratic fish, is not at all inferior. Blésotto, carrots and roasted squash accompany it with gusto. Speculoos and chocolate conclude on a consensual, winning note. A short wine list largely devoted to the Loire: Touraine-Amboise from Xavier Frissant, Anjou Blanc from Domaine Mongilet, Bourgueil from Domaine des Ouches...
