With its tall towers and fairytale castle silhouette surrounded by the ocean, Le Nessay looks a little unreal. But just step through the door of this magnificent refuge and you're back on earth, more exactly in an ideal family home with its vintage coat racks, riding boots and umbrellas left in the entrance hall. Restored in 2019, the hotel's charm lies not only in the talent of architects Dominique Bergerault and Stéphanie Cayet, but also in the sincere, warm atmosphere that infuses the premises. Check into one of the 17 rooms (divided between the château, the poternes and the annexes), all of which offer refined, cosy comfort, thick carpets, antique furniture and, as always, exceptional ocean views. Then it's on to the restaurant to savour Thomas Estrader's vegetal and marine cuisine, before enjoying the delights of the spa branded Phytomer from Brittany. A rare stopover, a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World group.
