Sponsored The Bergerie restaurant nestles between garden and garrigue in a village just a few kilometers from Uzès and the Pont du Gard. It's a perfect opportunity to combine a visit to Roman remains with a culinary voyage, discovering traditional French gastronomy transcended by Mauritian flavors. Chef Navin Bhunjun draws on his origins to create a marvellous blend of home and away. His interpretations of fish, the house's flagship product, including Mauritian-style saint-pierre and tandoori prawns, deliciously illustrate these influences. The journey begins on the terrace (overlooking the chef's vegetable garden), where you can sample ratatouille from the garden and enjoy an authentically Mediterranean moment. It continues in July and August on the "Côté gadjaks" terrace, dedicated to Mauritian tapas. A festive moment accompanied by the cocktail of the day for an evening of a thousand flavors, with naans prepared on site in a real tandoor oven. Dish of the day and dessert, at lunchtime, in an affordable formula. Gourmet menu and à la carte, evenings and weekends. Open 7 days a week in summer.
