Gault&Millau's review 2025

12 km from Uzès, this former 15th-century fortified farmhouse has been transformed into a hotel by Guy Toullelan and Gauthier Vandendriessche, who have imagined a contemporary refuge set in the heart of nature. The place is built around 3 rooms and 6 suites, vast and luminous, with their ancient vaults and stone walls, their natural materials and refined fabrics. Some have private terraces opening onto gardens planted with fig, oak and lavender trees. The heated swimming pool invites you to the gentlest of relaxations, as does the spa with its hammam and ultra-relaxing massages. The ultimate pleasure of the site is the restaurant, which welcomes young, talented and imaginative chefs every season, all under the guidance of Gauthier, a fine cook who also makes a point of offering sumptuous breakfasts.
