Gault&Millau's review 2025

A member of the Relais & Châteaux group, this listed building lies in the very heart of old Uzès. Restored with refinement, it houses 13 rooms and suites. The 17th-century staircase leads to luminous rooms with antique furniture, natural materials and views over the city's rooftops. Guests come here for the serenity of the surroundings, the treatments offered by the Clarins spa nestled under beautiful Roman vaults and enriched by a Roman bath, and for the (very) tasty cuisine of chef Christophe Ducros, which can be enjoyed on the shady patio as soon as the sun rises.
