Not far from Lake Villerest, this splendid 16th-century château, renovated in the 18th century, is now a hotel**** of exceptional luxury and charm, a haven of peace in the heart of a rural setting, with spa, outdoor pool, fully-equipped rooms and gourmet dining. Véronique and Olivier Boizet's address has established itself as one of the most renowned in the area, and the chef's dishes, available on menus ranging from €48 to €90, are worthy of the place: fennel flavored with tarragon, marbled pig's ears with tarragon chantilly, mousseron pickles, poached hake back in olive oil flavored with lemon thyme, zucchini tartlet without pastry, thyme and basil butter, saddle of lamb stuffed with kidney, ras el-hanout and dried fruit confit shoulder, rosemary dauphine potatoes, a peach and jasmine green tea freshness, shortbread and vine peach confit.
