Gourmet Restaurant Not far from Roanne, this renowned 16th-century house, redecorated in the 20s, is a well-managed family business, with son Pierre Reure now at the helm. Tradition still presides over the pretensions of this Côte Roannaise address, proud of its classics and its terroir. The Julia menu is a good option, with lobster tail, seared langoustine, crabmeat and sea urchin salad, sheep's milk veil with oysters, full-bodied lobster jus, Label Rouge salmon fillet confit with redcurrants, Aquitaine osciètre caviar and sturgeon meunière fillet, yuzu lemon sabayon, Souternon carrots, or filet mignon de cochon, beignet de pied, poitrine confite and effiloché de joue, côte roannaise wine sauce, mousse de tarbais and gratin de blette à l'ail noir. Good service.
