Description
Sponsored Soothing and comforting, that's the atmosphere of this intimate 100% Italian restaurant, a far cry from the clichés you'll find everywhere. Founded by Antonio Bianchi five years ago, the place is renowned for the quality of its home cooking, based on raw products from Italy, washed down with Italian wines. Just off the Cadet metro station, Piccola Toscana also shines with its chic decor and lounge music. Among the many authentic recipes on the menu are the famous meatballs: Polpette di Mamma (Giusepina, Antonio's mother). True to his 100% homemade philosophy, Antonio has opened two other gourmet haunts that he would like to introduce: Culinaria, a gourmet restaurant and grocery next door, known for its quality cuisine (lasagne, cannelloni...) and its many festive events; and Amare Amaro, 700 metres away, which offers homemade pasta and cocktails, in the evening only, in an electro ambience.
