It’s not so easy to make a name for oneself on Rue Rodier, in a competitive environment and under the “fixed-price omakase” system ranging from €39 to €89—a practice often followed by Japanese chefs well-versed in omakase. Keiji Shinohara therefore operates discreetly, offering well-executed cuisine that is relatively affordable given the effort involved.
