Sponsored Just a stone's throw from La Rochelle's marina, the Robinsons restaurant is a haven for globetrotters and adventurers. For the past fifteen years, it has been delighting and surprising an ever-growing clientele. It's worth noting that the restaurant's unusual décor plunges diners right into the middle of the jungle, with its plant-covered ceiling and details reminiscent of the Amazon rainforest. In an atmosphere worthy of Pirate of the Caribbean, guests come here as much for the unique setting as for the quality of the cuisine. A cuisine that looks to the world, where homemade ingredients and fresh produce take pride of place. On the menu: filet mignon with honey, pavé of sea bream with combawa cream, burger and home fries or a veggie version, filet of sea bass a la plancha with piquillo sauce, not forgetting home-made desserts and cocktails whose presentation alone is worth the detour... In the dining room, regulars and lunchtime workers mingle with tourists in a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Every month, Polynesian evenings feature traditional dishes (chicken fafa, mahi mahi) and Tahitian dances.
