Sponsored In 2007, when the Tilmont family moved to Lautrec to work in the world of pink garlic, a specialty of this small village in the Castrais region, they discovered the riches of the local terroir. The links they forged with producers convinced Alain, Lucie and Lorenzo to take over an emblematic establishment in the center of Lautrec, which has been awarded the label L'Un des Plus Beaux Villages de France. The renovated 16th-century building features exposed beams, red brickwork typical of local architecture and wood and metal furniture surrounding the bar and open kitchen. The traditional, family-style cuisine revolves around a menu focusing on fresh, local produce: beef or chicken burgers, salmon snacks, duck confit, prawns and beef steaks. In addition to the daily changing menu, you can enjoy coffee and homemade cookies in the morning, and as an aperitif, a board of French and Italian charcuterie and Lacaune cheeses, specialties of the neighboring village. The wine list also gives pride of place to local winemakers, including Gaillac wines and a selection of Grand Sud crus.
