Le Sénéchal loyalists (and there are many!) swear by the quality of Michel Truchon's cuisine and the beauty of this Rouergue village, where the prestigious chef has chosen his domain... The former house of Le Sénéchal, a listed 13th-century bastide, houses the restaurant as well as 11 rooms for guests wishing to extend the experience. In keeping with the spirit of the place, with their antique furniture and terracotta tiles, they offer the gentlest of refuges, with beautiful views over the gardens. A special mention must also be made of the heated indoor pool and the excellent Aveyron breakfast, ideal for recharging your batteries before setting off to discover the splendors of the region, from Conques Abbey to Cordes-sur-Ciel, or Albi and its dazzling cathedral...
