Gourmet Restaurant Here's one of Toulouse's most discreet, even confidential, addresses in the heart of the old town! In the kitchen (and who doesn't leave the kitchen), chef Isabelle Foucher, and in the dining room, an experienced maître d'hôtel who handles the thirty covers with disconcerting ease, never looking frantic, happy to do his job, with a smile on his face. The atmosphere is lively, yet comfortable and even intimate. The (otherwise generous) bistronomic plates are flawless, both creative and accomplished, without a single fault: tataki and Gruyère-style beef, breaded soft-boiled egg, white bean and chorizo cream, shiitake squid fricassee, bacon and Parmesan cream, with an exquisite purée, beautiful and very good homemade profiterole. All this is tied up in a menu, a real one with choices, at the unbeatable price of €34 (no supplement!). The price of liquids is of the same ilk, with a wide selection by the glass (more than twenty proposals...).
