Just behind Montmartre, Mathieu and Taïki Tamao's restaurant is one of the arrondissement's most essential bistros, for its good humor, its unbeatable lunch menu and the chef's excellent intuition, applying simple, contemporary cuisine. The menu shows that you can make great dishes with little: ceviche of lean fish, passion vinaigrette and baby vegetables; risotto with porcini mushrooms, parmesan and a perfect egg; filet of scorpion fish, saffron cream, fregola sarda with watercress and braised endives; roast saddle of lamb au gratin with herbs, shallot and rosemary jus, piquillo coulis, pak choï cabbage and artichoke; white chocolate millefeuille. Good cellar selection.
