Sponsored In the idyllic setting of this magnificent mountain village, just a stone's throw from Font-Romeu and the Spanish border, La Kasa de l'Ours tells the story of over 50 years of Pyrenean history. In a relaxed, chic atmosphere, Nuno Goncalves and his team promote bistronomic market cuisine. For the past few months, new chef Kevin Baud, fresh off the island of Ré, and his team have been working with fresh fish a la plancha, black Périgord chicken in jambonnette, not forgetting the house favourites such as the Tirabuxo pig burger (free-range in the Pyrénées-Orientales), Galician octopus à la Gallega (potatoes in olive oil and smoked paprika), the famous mature cheese platter and fresh fruit tiramisù... The bimonthly menu is enriched every weekend with finely imagined suggestions. Nuno has put together a fine list of regional wines, which he can recommend to match your dishes. Finally, you can enjoy the sunshine on the terrace all day long, with a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees mountain range.
