The site is undoubtedly one of the finest wine estates in the region, but it is also a pioneer in the field of rehabilitation, having brought the former Bélesta cooperative cellar back to life. The space that once housed the village's grape harvest is now a wine cellar, but above all an ecolodge with a bold architectural design: the 18 rooms and suites have been imagined in the huge concrete wine vats dating from 1925. Some of the rooms are built on top of the vats and decorated with colonial furniture and warm tones. Others, even more spectacular, take place inside the vats themselves, with immaculate white walls and midnight-blue ceilings, offering a sensation of total disconnection. A locavore restaurant, a natural swimming pool filtered by plants, a spa and four recently inaugurated gîtes in the grounds of the Château de Belesta complete the offer of this address with its seductive slowlife concept.
