Description
Sponsored Located between Loriol-sur-Drôme and Crest, the Auberge d'Allex is a beautiful old stone building, just like our national heritage. Already a fixture in the 60s, this establishment, which was then the village bar, was taken over in 2022 by two "local kids": Aurélien, the head chef, and Myriam, in the dining room. The couple's bistronomic cuisine is based on local produce, carefully selected from small producers in the area. Aurélien and Myriam pay close attention to seasonality, adapting their menu as the year progresses and concocting a creative cuisine. Customers will appreciate the breaded calf's head and its vegetables in purée, mousse or crisp. Ostrich pavé - raised fifteen minutes from the restaurant - is also delicious. Dishes you won't find anywhere else. The Maison's other assets include its pastry chef, who creates astonishing vegetable-based desserts, and its cellar, rich with nuggets unearthed from small estates. A wonderful address to discover!
