Chef's Restaurant In this beautiful house where we once knew Patrick Giffon, Julie and Sébastien Bonnet perpetuate the tradition of good food. A bistro and a gastro, both of which work well, with the core competency lying halfway between, allowing everyone to indulge to their heart's content. The conventional manners contribute to the high standards, with sourdough baguette and seaweed butter, and the young team, under Julie's supervision, apply the same gestures, while the prices are generous enough for a limited choice of dishes. The €80 menu, with starter, main course, cheese and dessert, is generally masterful, with no choice except for the dish between land and sea, with foie gras pot-au-feu, small scallops, trout roe and Clairette de Die sauce, and a good chocolate dessert, topped with black garlic and coffee. A fairly classic cellar, predominantly Rhodanian, with Guigal parcellaires and La Chapelle hermitages providing their share of prestige.
