Sponsored Where can you find the key to a pleasant meal and/or a successful stay? It would seem to be in Saint-André-de-Sangonis, at the gateway to Larzac, in a lush, romantic setting. Completely revamped five years ago by Alex, Isa and their friendly team, the commune's only hotel-restaurant has undergone a complete overhaul that has done it a world of good. With a warm welcome, guests enjoy the services of a small family-run hotel, rated 2 stars, with 28 fully-equipped rooms, a swimming pool and a "very good restaurant", as the most epicurean among them would say. The quality and creativity of the dishes is due to the talent of Chef Jean-Michel Coudrier, a true enthusiast. He particularly enjoys working with cuttlefish, lamb mice and cassoulet, which is offered once a month, and, as a former pastry chef, he perfects his desserts. As with the wines, raw materials are chosen primarily locally, and food and wine pairings can be enjoyed in the lounge-style dining room or on the terrace by the pool. In summer, the restaurant is also open Saturday and Sunday evenings.
