Sponsored Ideally located between Rennes (50 km) and Laval (30 km), this pretty stone crêperie is firmly established in the lively market town of Argentré-du-Plessis, just opposite the town hall. Since the mid-2000s, the Crêperie des Lys has built up a fine reputation as a gourmet break, with customers appreciating both the warm, brightly-colored setting and the original galettes and crêpes offered by Stéphane (in the kitchen) and Marie (in the dining room). All are made with 100% buckwheat or wheat flour and enhanced with local products selected from nearby producers. As for the à la carte specialties, they're all nuggets. Among them, the "Terre et Mer" galette is a delight, with snacked scallops, grilled andouille sausage and smoked salmon, enhanced by fig confit and beet ice cream. The crêpes are also a great success. Everything is presented in highly visual plates, composed with the utmost care. A very fine establishment.
