Gault&Millau's review 2025

In the heart of Laval's historic district, this 18th-century mansion has recently undergone a facelift, becoming one of the department's only 4-star hotels. Surrounded by French-style gardens refreshed by beautiful fountains, the site houses 36 charming rooms and suites, with a mix of antique and contemporary furniture, waxed parquet floors and cosy beds, all opening onto the rooftops of the old town. The hotel also houses a gourmet restaurant, L'Épicurien, and a brasserie, Le Patio, both of which celebrate local produce in their own way. The fitness room and spa invite you to relax and unwind. The perfect place for a family weekend away, but also for receptions or business events.
